Unplug on this four-day Ischia Yoga Tour where you get to practice the art of Yoga and reconnect with nature, explore places rich in history and savor holistic dishes from faraway lands.

The tour includes: Yoga sessions with an experienced yoga instructor; three nights accommodation in Villa Ravino; a lunch bag on board; a welcome aperitif; one dinner in an agriturismo restaurant, transportation by bus from Ischia port to Villa Ravino and back to Naples port area; and bus transfer to Naples train station or airport on your last day (your return to Naples), Tour of Rione Terra, and Tour of the entire Ischia island.
About the Yoga Instructor

Conchita Capuano Chavarriaga has been teaching and practicing yoga for more than twenty years.

Conchita received her training and diploma at Yoga Integrale di Napoli (the Integral Yoga School of Naples), a CONI recognized institute. In addition: she received practical knowledge of yoga and training in Yoga Therapy with the Indian teacher Mandeep Singh; she holds a diploma as a yoga teacher for children and adolescents from the AIYB school; and a teaching diploma as a Yin yoga teacher recognized by the Yoga Alliance.
About the Purna Yoga Instructor

Roberto Iorio has been teaching and practicing yoga for more than five years.

After finishing his university degree and realizing how much yoga had changed his life, Roberto decided to share his experience by teaching. He left Europe in 2014 to travel to Byron Bay where he was trained by John Ogilvie and completed the 500 hours Certificate IV in Yoga. Following, he undertook training in Tantric breath-work at the Osho Meditation Centre in Tuscany and completed additional Tantra training with The Australian School of Tantra in Byron Bay. He taught regular classes for Byron Yoga Centre in Australia, and taught meditation classes on the Teacher Training courses there, until he decided to take the next step in his yoga journey by travelling to India where he completed a four-month Certificate in Ayurveda and Yoga Lifestyle Consultancy. Roberto’s profile as a holistic practitioner also includes the completion of Level 2 in Reiki (2015).
Group Yoga Sessions

A group yoga session usually constitutes 10 to 15 people.

The yoga sessions last about 1 hour and 30 minutes; comprise of pranayama (breathing exercises), asana (postures), Dhyana (meditation) and yoga nidra (relaxation); and can be planned twice or thrice during the event. There will be an introduction to Yoga by the Instructor where you will learn about the physical and emotional self-healing the yogic method encompasses as it enables the rediscovery of the natural state of harmony.

Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a simple and slow-paced practice that acts on the deep connective tissue of the body. At the same time, it helps to improve the movement capacity of the joints, to stimulate the energy flow of the meridians and organs, to calm emotions, and to prepare the body and the mind for deep states of meditation.

By holding each asana for a few minutes and maintaining a deep and conscious breathing, slowly the muscles begin to relax, allowing the deep connective tissue that wraps the muscles and give shape to the articular capsules (fascia, ligaments, tendons and bones) to feed, fortify and "stretch" in a safe and therapeutic way.

The Yin practice focuses on self-observation and listening. When we assume a posture that follows our natural alignment, we let go of all distractions and preconceived notions and we bring our attention to the present moment in a unique way, with intention and without judgement; thus developing the ability to feel movement in the absence of movement, to perceive the sensations of the body or the emotions that emerge, and to feel our breath, with our mind and heart.

Purna Yoga
Purna Yoga means integrated or complete and represents a holistic approach to yoga that integrates not just the physical postures (asanas), but also philosophy, meditation (dhyana), breath control (pranayama) and the yogic codes of social (yamas) and personal (niymas) ethics, to combine all 8 limbs of yoga as they are described in Patanjali’s Asthanga Yoga system more than 3000 years ago. The postural instruction is based on Hatha Yoga with focus on alignment.

For three days we will pamper our body with two practices a day: in the morning a sequence of yoga in movement (sun salutation and Dragon Fly) with which we will activate, and pranayama (practices of deep breathing); and at sunset a Yin yoga sequence, which in addition to working deeply on our connective tissues, will relax our mind through the small meditations performed during the practice that will help us to better focus our intentions or sankalpa.

Once the practice is over there will be time to enjoy the wonderful spa that the structure offers and enjoy complete relaxation before dinner.
About Ischia

Ischia is one of the most popular international wellness destinations in Italy.

Its elements: Fire, Air, Earth, and Water make it a unique place and territory for moments of self-discovery. Ischia’s thermal waters is another reason why the island is such a popular travel destination for health and wellness. It has a number of natural springs, thermal parks and gardens, wellness centers and spas that people visit year-round. The island is also rich in vegetation, which is why it’s also known as the Green Island. Ischia boasts of unique and rare plant species, such as those found in La Mortella garden, also called the garden of the seven wonders. With seven municipalities, the island preserves picturesque places and villages such as the village of San' Angelo, the guardian of a castle, the Aragonese Castle (first built by Hiero I of Syracuse in 474 BC).
Day 1

Naples - Rione Terra - Ischia - Yoga practice - Overnight in Villa Ravino.

The first day of your arrival, meeting point at the Feltrinelli book store in piazza Garibaldi (train station) at 11:30.
Departure with private minibus to the port of Pozzuoli to embark to reach the island of Ischia.
Before embarking for Ischia, we will stop for the visit of Rione Terra, the ancient Roman city of Puteoli (today known as Pozzuoli).

Following the visit of Rione Terra, we embark with lunch bag on board.

Once you reach the port of Ischia there will be a bus waiting for you for your private transfer directly to Villa Ravino, your accommodation for the duration of the yoga tour. Villa Ravino is unique in the simplicity its structure holds, adorned by a wonderful exotic garden and terraces overlooking the immense blue of the sky and the sea; perfect for pure moments of relaxation.

Upon arrival at Villa Ravino a Healthy Aperitif of herbal teas, tea and fruit will be served.

In the evening the first yoga practice session will take place.

Day 2

Yoga practice - Tour of Ischia - Dinner - Overnight in Villa Ravino.

Upon awakening, connect to your inner-self with the Instructor through the second yoga practice together of the day.

Following practice, you’ll have breakfast.

Today touring of the island of Ischia, one of the three islands of the Campania region and the biggest of the three. Ischia, also known as l'isola verde (the green island), is rich in vegetation. Beautiful exotic plants and flowers are present on the entire island, and in fact the Giardini della Mortella is one of the finest and most beautiful gardens in the world; if you wish and if possible, you may be able to visit it. Another major attraction in Ischia is the Poseidon garden. It is the largest thermal park complex on the island; perfect for a fun and relaxing time, that if you’d like will be there for you to try soon after our tour.

Next there will be some time to visit Ischia on your own or with an optional tour of the island.

In the late afternoon there will be the third yoga session. The seminar and yoga practice will entail breathing exercises (pranayama), asanas (postures), Dhyana (meditation) and yoga nidra (relaxation).

Dinner on your own.

Day 3

Yoga practice - Dinner - Overnight in Villa Ravino.

In the morning yoga practice session followed by breakfast.

Free day - You have the day at your disposal to discover more of the wonders of Ischia on your own or through an optional tour that explores some of the hidden gems of this wonderful island. Take advantage of being in Ischia to try out its thermal waters at any of the island’s famous spas; and/or plan a recreational activity.

Lunch on your own.

In the late afternoon we will have the fifth session of yoga practice always with pranayama (breathing exercises), asanas (postures), Dhyana (meditation) and yoga nidra (relaxation).

A pleasant and enjoyable evening together to discover the secrets of some of the typical and authentic recipes of this wonderful country, dinner and overnight.
Day 4


Upon awakening you begin the last day of your wellness weekend trip with a yoga practice session.

Breakfast will be served before departure.

With a private minibus, transfer from Villa Ravino to the port of Ischia for boarding and return to Naples port.

Once you reach the mainland, transfer in private bus to the central station and/or Naples airport for your departure to your final destination.
