Morning on your own – evening dinner and tombola show
Evening Dinner and Tombola show.
Tombola is a very old and traditional Neapolitan game that gathers relatives and friends in the month of December. It consists of playing a game that may look like bingo, but that for Neapolitans is so much more than that. Each number has a meaning and symbol; some funny, some naughty, some with double meanings, but for everyone to have fun playing while immersing yourself in the Neapolitan culture.

Vertical City, Decumani, and San Gregorio
Visit the vertical city, which includes seeing Castel Sant'Elmo, a 14th century castle that was the highest defense point in the city throughout the middle ages, and from where you get an entire view of the lower city with the Bay and its islands. Adjacent is the Monastery of San Martino. The museum of San Martino, out of the many important sections, houses a vast collection of Neapolitan cribs and is an absolute must on Christmas season.
Visit Decumani and San Gregorio
Decumani is three large straight roads running from east to west, cut perpendicularly by twenty streets called cardines, considered to be the ideal plan by the architect-philosopher Hippodamus of Miletus. As you walk these cobblestone roads, you will see major historical buildings, churches and notorious streets like San Gregorio Armeno with its many shops. Artisans of these shops work year-round to display all sorts of nativity scene figurines for the magical season. You will see the traditional nativity scene figurines, as well as artisanal figurines of famous people from today’s world such as actors, soccer players, and politicians.
